About RMC

RMC Foundation For the Arts is chartered as a nonprofit
corporation under and by virtue of the laws of the State of
Tennessee, as contained in Tennessee Code Title 48 Section
48-52-102 of the General Statutes of Tennessee,
(Corporations and Associations).

Mission Statement

The purpose of The RMC Foundation for the Arts is to
provide support and services to artists of all types in the
Memphis and Mid-south area through various programs.

Radio Memphis

This is an Internet broadcaster set up to provide exposure
for the musical performances of artists and to provide
awareness to the public at large about the various
promotions of those artists regarding their work,
performances, and in cooperation with the other programs
involved within the scope of all previous listed internal
programs.

Feed the Blues

The currently running program to provide food for under-
served members the Memphis and Mid-South’s music
community, through food purchases and collections in its
partnership through the Memphis Blues Society.

Single and a Flip

The program developed to provide new artists a chance to
make their first recordings of two (2) songs for
demonstrative efforts of their abilities and to learn how a
recording studio works. Provided through Pirate Radio
Studios, Inc.

Making Movies

The program established to provide some financial and
production assistance for film makers, writers, actors, and
production types to create and produce their projects either
through short film, music videos, or full commercial length
film with the central focus being the projects are locally
produced.

Lifestyle Rescue

This is a multi agency partnership that will provide help to
any artist who found themselves caught in a situation of
addiction and related issues.

The final Act

A program to assist artists of any type with final expenses
including funeral, headstone, and other such needs familial
survivors might apply and request.
