One of the key things internet broadcasters have to deal with is the simple act of monetizing. Advertising agencies want to see big numbers. When a broadcaster does bring those numbers, the rules seem to change. It all seems to be based in fear, of all things. In this episode, Ric takes a look (and a shot) at advertising agencies and their current attitudes toward the internet. Sadly, some of these companies still hold on to the “tried and true” terrestrial format even though 75 – 80 percent of the AM/FM audience has evaporated. Where did they go? To the internet. Is he ahead of the curve? You bet. What may seem like a good place to be, not so much.
